Paper Fraction Circles

Ten labeled fraction circles — the whole through tenths — each inside a green frame ring, ready to cut into sectors.

For use with: Fraction Circles

In this kit

10 circles (whole through tenths) → 55 sectors, with frame rings

Assembly

  1. Print all pages at 100% scale; check the 1-inch square on page 1.
  2. Glue each sheet to cardstock before cutting anything — floppy paper sectors are no fun to work with.
  3. Cut out each disc just inside its green ring, then cut the sectors apart along the black division lines.
  4. Leave the green rings on the sheet: they are the frames. The child rebuilds each circle inside its ring, labels facing up.

Paper Fraction Circles — Kit

In this kit: 10 circles (whole through tenths) → 55 sectors, with frame rings.

Print at 100% scale (“Actual size” — turn off “Fit to page”). This square must measure exactly 1 inch (2.54 cm) on each side. If it doesn’t, fix the print scale before cutting.

✂ Cut along dashed lines; pieces with a colored frame are cut around the frame.

A free Montessori mathematics resource for families — ages 4–12. No accounts, no tracking: just lessons to read, materials to explore, and worksheets to print.

Virtual materials are a substitute for when the real thing isn't available — hands on real beads is always best. All child practice beyond the materials themselves is designed for pencil and paper.
